The Speed of GOD

THE SPEED OF GOD

Have you ever wondered what the speed is the God moves with? Is He walking, or running or flying? Look at Genesis 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: …” Walking actually means STROLLING!

See what God tells Abram in Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk (stroll) before me, and be thou perfect.Abram had to stroll before God in order to be perfect!

When I am strolling through the garden or in nature I am able to see so much more. I spend time looking and experiencing things. The same in my life and relationship with God! I can be taught so much more when I stroll with Him. I will be able to hear His soft whisper. Isaiah 30:21 will also be for me: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.I will be able to hear the soft voice of the Holy Spirit, even in difficult and dangerous situations.

Just see how far God goes to enable us to stroll! Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put My Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them.” God enables us through the Holy Spirit to stroll before Him. Even if I don’t know how to stroll, even if my life is so in turmoil or of a fast pace, the Holy Spirit will help me to stroll before God. I must only allow Him to teach me.

Furthermore the Holy Spirit will also enable me to resist the lusts of the flesh, when I am strolling. Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. So I must walk “stroll” in the Spirit to achieve this victory.

“ABBA Father, I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ that You will teach me how to stroll before You. Help me to see what is around me and help me to hear Your voice when I am wandering off the road. Thank you for teaching me this through the Holy Spirit. Amen”
